Over the past 10 years, RSBA has grown phenomenally from a professional staff of 7 to over 70 people, primarily certified public accountants. Its clientele has expanded from 2 initial retainers to over 300 companies.

The Firm was founded on 14 January 1994 by its managing partner, Rosario S. Bernaldo, a young CPA lawyer who had worked with the biggest accounting firms in the country.

A few months later,PKF International, and accounting firm based in London, recruited the firm as a full-fledged member of its international network. Some years later, Grant Thornton became a correspondent of the Firm. The years that followed after the Firm's founding were very challenging. The rapid growing of number of professional staff propelled the firm to new heights as business expanded. Foreign investors sought the firm’s professional expertise and guidance; the result of favorable word of mouth from satisfied clients.

On August 25, 2000, RSB celebrated its entry into the new millennium with the blessing of its newly renovated and expanded offices in Tower 1 of Cityland 10 in the heart of Makati City, the nation's premier business center. It has been appointed a full-fledged member of ASEAN Accounting Firms (ASNAF) where RSBA was a co-founder.

Today, RSBA is one of the leading CPA firms in the Philippines.
