R. S. Bernaldo & Associates (RSBA) formed alliances with two independent CPA firms in Cebu and Davao, two major cities in Southern Philippines.

Under separate Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) both signed in August 2003, the Firm Cañete (Cebu) and Myrna Valdez, CPA & MBA (Davao) agreed to collaborate with RSBA in rendering accounting and business services to clients in these key cities and nearby provinces.

In Cebu, for example, RSBA set up and registered with PEZA the Utah-based Western Wats, one of the largest call centers that invested in the Philippines and Mactan Export Processing Zone. The Firm Cañete handled the local registrations.

RSBA also tied up with a local accounting software developer, PRIME to market its product to small and medium companies.

In Mindanao, RSBA and Myrna Valdez, CPA & MBA (based in Davao) collaborated in rendering financial consultancy services to clients in Cotabato City and NALCO for special projects.
